Using traditional media, such as collage and oil pastel, as well as printmaking processes and (occasionally) digital drawing; Amy’s work brings to life a variety of fiction and non-fiction stories, aiming to inspire curiosity and joy in its audiences. Amy’s design process is intuitive, informed by the media and techniques she is working with. In a design landscape saturated with digital content, Amy is passionate about working with analogue materials and craft processes such as printmaking and crochet, to create evocative work which appeals to those who are playful and curious to learn about the world around them. Amy attended Edinburgh College of Art, where she received a degree in Illustration. After graduating, Amy featured in a number of exhibitions and fairs, including Scope Renfrewshire Showcase, DEPARTMNT Aberdeen, and Macrobert Handmade Fair. Recently, Amy won Ocean Generation’s ‘Design Your Ocean’ poster competition. Amy is based in Glasgow, and working throughout central Scotland.
